Comprehensive Porsche Insurance

Fully comprehensive car insurance is the highest level of car insurance that a driver can obtain. Fully comprehensive insurance may be the most expensive of the three types of insurance but it offers the driver the most cover.

With fully comprehensive car insurance the driver can expect all the cover of third party and third party fire and theft insurance but with the added benefit of cover for your car. This can be of a great advantage if you have an accident involving no other vehicles because unlike the other types of cover you are entitled to claim back costs from your insurance provider.

Fully comprehensive cover is extremely popular with owners who want to cover their vehicle for all manner of problems associated with accidents. When taking out comprehensive car insurance you can also benefit from other services offered by certain car insurance companies. These services can include protection of your no claims bonus and the use of a courtesy car in the event of your car being of the road for accident repair. The table below shows the level of cover a driver can expect from fully comprehensive insurance:

Damage to your car -> YES
Third Party Damage -> YES
Theft -> YES
Fire Damage -> YES

Conclusion

All three types of car insurance discussed in this article have their benefits and disadvantages. Third party cover would suit an individual that drives only occasionally with a relatively cheap car. Thieves tend not to care whether you're covered or not so we wouldn't recommend this type of cover.

Third party fire and theft insurance would suit an individual who doesn't wish to spend a lot on car insurance but still wants a good level of cover. This type of insurance may suit a young driver with a relatively inexpensive car but wants the added protection against theft.

Fully comprehensive insurance would ideally suit anybody with a car valued over £1500 or a motorist that wants the added protection that comes with the cover. This type of insurance is highly recommended by insurance companies because although it costs a little more the level of protection it offers the driver is far superior.

In closing, all three types of insurance cover serve a purpose in today's motoring community but the decision generally comes down to cost. The best advice when choosing cover for your vehicle would be shop around to get the best cover for the price you can afford.
