Different Types Of Car Insurance

There are many different types of car insurance available to purchase and it can be confusing for the car insurance consumer deciding which one to buy. Many motor insurance companies will deicide to offer you one of these types of insurance covers:

First one would be the most basic and cheapest car insurance cover which you can get; Third party only coverage. This type of car insurance cover only protects passengers and the other car driver. If the driver is in an accident, this policy will cover damages made to your car by the other driver but if there was an incident where the driver damaged their own car, this would not be covered. Also fire and theft are not covered either.

There can be an added option for third party car insurance which would include fire and theft but obviously the premium would then be higher.

The other type of car insurance would be the Fully Comprehensive insurance. This particular policy will cover all types' accidents that can happen, even if it was the driver who was the one to cause the accident. It's usually the case that brand new cars are required to have this type of cover.

Different policies are available at insureyourmotor.co.uk which covers every individual case. Please see the website for more details.
